120/240-Volt Electrical Receptacles
These outlets provide both 240- and 120-volt power and have four poles: two hot, one neutral, and one grounding slot. As with the 240-volt receptacle, each slot pattern is designed for a specific plug and amperage; be sure you buy the right one. Both surface-mounted and recessed models are available.
