How to Repair a Water-Damaged Ceiling |
|
If roof or plumbing leaks have caused yellow or brown water stains on your ceiling, don’t try to paint right over the stains as they are likely to show through. Fix the source of the leak first. If the ceiling is not textured or if the texture isn’t loosened by the water damage, simply seal the stain with a stain sealer and then repaint. Get Pre-Screened Drywall Repair Help or Contractors
